Stamford Man Nabbed For Driving While Impaired

Greenwich Police said when the man stopped his car at the scene of another car being towed on Valley Road in Cos Cob, they detected an odor of marijuana.

Stamford Man Nabbed For Driving While Impaired

 

A Stamford man was arrested and charged with driving while impaired by alcohol and/or drugs on Saturday, Jan. 12, after police determined he may have been driving under the influence of marijuana.

According to police, Anthony F. Fabricatore, 21, of Clarks Hill Ave. stopped his car at the scene of another car being towed on Valley Road in Cos Cob at about 10 p.m.

While speaking to an officer at the scene the officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from Fabricatore. An investigation revealed that Fabricatore had been driving while under the influence.

Fabricatore was released on a $750 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 21.
