Suspect Held in Greenwich Sexual Assault
The suspect surrendered to Greenwich Police who obtained an arrest warrant.

A 32-year-old man remains in custody, unable to post the $50,000 bond set on fourth-degree sexual assault and second-degree breach of peace charges.
According to Greenwich Police, the suspect surrendered at police headquarters on Oct. 14. Denis Omar Mencia-Acosta, who gave an address of 10 Grace Church St., Port Chester, NY was charged in connection with an incident on Brookside Drive that was reported shortly after 7 p.m. Sept. 9, according to a police report.
Police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray said Monday that details of the incident “are not being released at this time.”

Mencia-Acosta is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Nov. 19 in state Superior Court, according to Connecticut Judicial Branch website.
