The TechLounge at the Greenwich Senior Center Offers Classes In Technology
Local seniors can learn how to use their tech devices.
The Greenwich Senior Center is offering local seniors the opportunity to get on the cutting edge of technology whether it’s learning how to use the latest Smartphone or how to negotiate social media.
The recently renovated Greenwich Senior Center TechLounge is where the classes are being offered every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon in April and May. The classes will be held from 1 to 3 p.m.
The classes will cover the latest in:

- Smartphones and iPad tablets:
- Social Media: Facebook, Skype, Cloud computing.
- How to do effective searches on the Internet.
- Genealogy.
- Microsoft Windows 8.1, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Internet TV.
To enroll or receive a detailed schedule email TechLounge21@gmail.com, or pick up a schedule at the TechLounge at the Greenwich Senior Center, 299 Greenwich Ave.
Walk-ins without prior enrollment are welcome, if empty seats are available.
