4 Injured In 2-Vehicle Crash In Greenwich: Update
The crash occurred late Wednesday afternoon on North Street.

GREENWICH, CT — Four people were injured late Wednesday in a two-vehicle, head-on crash on North Street in Greenwich, which resulted in the temporary closure of the street between Doubling and Clapboard Ridge roads, according to Greenwich emergency dispatch. The road has since been reopened.
The four are being treated at area hospitals, with the driver of one of the vehicles suffering serious but not life-threatening injuries. The conditions of the four have not been released.
According to Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz, the crash, which remains under investigation, occurred in the area of Saint Mary's Cemetery.

"At about 4:30 PM GPD received a 9-11 call reporting that a black Mercedes-Benz was operating erratically on North Street," wrote Slusarz in a statement to Patch and other media outlets. "It was followed by a report of a head-on collision involving the Mercedes and a full sized SUV. The driver of the Mercedes was taken to an area hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. The three occupants of the SUV suffered minor injuries and were treated at a local hospital."
