Some state and local services may be closed for the Jan. 19 holiday.
In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 19, here’s a list of what’s open and what’s closed in the Town of Greenwich.
Greenwich Town Hall
All offices are closed.

Holly Hill Resource Recovery Facility
Regular hours: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Schools
All Greenwich Public and private schools are closed.
Libraries
The Greenwich Library, Byram Shubert, Cos Cob and Perrot Memorial libraries are closed.
CT DMV
Department of Motor Vehicles major customer service offices will close for the Martin Luther King Day holiday on Friday, Jan. 16, at 12:30 p.m. and reopen Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 7:45 a.m.
Major DMV service offices will be open on Thursday until 5:30 p.m. All AAA offices will be open to process renewals for driver licenses and non-driver ID cards during their normal business hours.
Banks
All banks in Connecticut will be closed.
Stock Markets
The stock markets will be closed.
Postal Service
There is no mail delivery and post offices are closed.
Metro-North Railroad
Metro-North will operate on a Saturday schedule, but add trains on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The schedule can be found here.
