Woman Faces Charges She Cashed Checks Stolen in Greenwich
The suspect surrendered to Greenwich Police who obtained an arrest warrant.

A woman is facing charges she fraudulently cashed checks that were reported stolen from a Greenwich home.
The suspect surrendered at Greenwich Police headquarters on April 8.
Police had obtained an arrest warrant charging the woman in connection with the theft of checks from a Park Avenue home in late November.

Shaquoia Smith 24, of Dewey Court in Bridgeport, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, third-degree forgery and conspiracy.
Smith was released on a written promise to appear April 15 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
