YES, You Can Have a Balanced Life

That is the overarching message from Sandi Klein to her fellow Realtors in Greenwich, Fairfield County and across the country in her first b

Sandi Klein, GRI, ABR has been a sought after Realtor in Greenwich since she transitioned from a career in education and began her realty practice in 1975. She owned a successful boutique real estate firm for 14 years with as many as 20 brokers in 2 locations, subsequently opting to sell it to a multi-office chain in 1997.

She is currently associated with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services of New England in its office at the corner of East Putnam Avenue and Milbank Avenue, one of 50 Berkshire Hathaway offices.

Sandi’s focus is on Realtors. The life lessons and tips on juggling the many balls of career and family apply equally to anyone who is an independent contractor, i.e., self-employed. Realtors will see themselves and issues they face daily: poisonous clients, being the brand, working well with a seller or buyer, knowing when to throw in the towel, handling work routines in a scheduled and organized manner, family and their support or assistance, maintaining connections via recurring communications and a personal touch.

One striking example of the latter is a party at home on New Year’s Day or a January Sunday brunch for clients and those who have referred clients. Nothing could be more personal than breaking bread in one’s own home.

Candace Adams, President & CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New England, reflected on Sandi’s book: “One of our most experienced brokers has created a guide for staying happy in our challenging industry…Brava!”
