Hamden Announces Date for Annual Fireworks Event
The Hamden Symphony Orchestra will perform during the event. Organizers of the annual display are in need of donations.
HAMDEN, CT – Spring is just around the corner and summer will be here before you know it, so it’s never too early to start thinking about Fourth of July fireworks.
Hamden’s 23rd Annual fireworks display will be held Friday, July 1 (with a rain date of July 2) at the Town Center Park, the Hamden Volunteer Firefighters Fireworks Committee announced in a press release.
“We will be partnering once again with the Town of Hamden and Hamden Arts Commission to present this spectacular Fireworks event,” committee chairman Karl Olson said in a statement. “We are delighted the Hamden Symphony Orchestra will perform during the evening. Also, Tri-State DJ Co.’s DJBry will be providing music before and after the orchestra performs as well as during the fireworks.
“As always, we are in need of donations for this year’s event.”
Checks should be made payable to HVFF and mailed to P.O. Box 5104 Hamden, CT 06518 or donations can be made using PayPal.
