Youth Soccer Team Featuring Manchester Player Headed to World Tourney
The tournament is slated for next month.

The CT United U-11 girls soccer team will be representing the state at the 3v3 World Championship Tournament in the Invitation division next month.
The tournament is slated for Jan. 14-16 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort.

- Se-Hanna Mars from Manchester
- Maggie Rollins from Stafford
- Swathi Ganeshfrom East Hartford
- Isabella Deronsle from Vernon
- Cali-Dean Craft from Vernon
- Emma Gregorski from from Glastonbury
The team is coached by Corey Craft, Vernon Soccer coach, Oakwood assistant coach and state police officer.
All six players are members of the local Oakwood Soccer Club.

The team qualified for the World Championship tournament by winning local tournaments in Worcester, MA; Fall River, MA; Cumberland. RI; Oxford, NY; Edition, NJ; and two regional events in Marlborough, MA; and Wethersfield, this past summer.
During the tournaments, the girls had decisive victories against both girls and boys teams.
The tam has played more than 40 games and remains unbeaten.
The key victory came when it defeated Short Sided Soccer team from Edition, NJ, he current Disney 2016 National Champion, during one local tournament.
