The Middletown community is invited a Martin Luther King Jr. celebration keynote address by one of the world's leading anti-racist writers and educators Friday, Jan. 31, at 3:15 p.m. at Wesleyan University's Memorial Chapel.
Tim Wise was named one of “25 Visionaries Who are Changing Your World,” by Utne Reader and has spoken in all 50 states, on over 800 college and high school campuses, and to community groups across the nation.
There is a block of tickets reserved for the community to attend this event. A community member may reserve two tickets. Tickets can be picked up the day of the event at will-call and specific information will be emailed to those that sign up.
Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis at the Wesleyan website and when all tickets are reserved, the on-line form will be taken down.
