Body Found in CT River Identified as Missing Middletown Teen: Police
A Silver Alert had been issued for the teen, who was reported missing on Friday.

MIDDLETOWN, CT — The body found in the Connecticut River on Tuesday evening has been identified as Justina Alicea, 19, who was reported missing from Middletown on Friday, according to Middletown Police.
The body was discovered at approximately 5:40 p.m. on May 24 by a couple fishing in the Connecticut River.
The Office of Chief Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on the body on Wednesday morning.

No foul play is suspected in Alicea’s death at this time, police said.
“The Middletown Police Department sends its condolences to Alicea’s family,” police said in a statement.
