Every year CECA requests submissions for outstanding educational units that incorporate technology and 21st-century learning skills to highlight at the exposition.
WWMS exhibited on May 2 at the State Legislator’s Building in Hartford from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.
The school was one of only 30 recipients across the state to receive this honor with a unit title of “Using Collaborative Knowledge and Media Tools to Unlock the Mysteries of The Westing Game.”
Four outstanding WWMS students joined in to discuss and present their work on the project: Alex DeFrance, Evan Augeri, Samantha Fletcher and Liv Elmore.
State Rep. Matthew Lesser awarded the group with an official citation from the General Assembly and members were given a tour of the Capitol building by the League of Women Voters.
