Body Found Inside Burning Vehicle in Milford

MILFORD, CT — Fire officials responding to a car fire Friday night found the body of a deceased person inside the vehicle, Chief Anthony Fabrizi said in a news release.

Crews responded to a car fire around 10:30 p.m. in the area of 1 Milford Point Road near the Connecticut Audubon Society Building. Firefighters found a fully involved passenger vehicle fire and found a body in the passenger side of the car.

State and local officials are working to determine the identity of the victim and the cause of the fire. Further information was not immediately available.
