The MFAC supports the arts in our community by supporting and nurturing our young people to foster a lifelong commitment to creativity and growth.

We are looking for students with a passion for the arts and a need for assistance to help facilitate their dream.
What are some upcoming MFAC programs involving young people in Milford?
The MFAC is currently exploring the implementation of a Mosaics of Milford Project which would involve the community as a whole.

The Milford Fine Arts Council Trust is offering Grant Funds to assist in paying expenses for arts projects. The Trust Grant Fund Directors appreciate your interest in the program.
Who May Apply:
Milford Residents attending High School or College and students enrolled in a Milford middle or high or school are eligible.
The projects will be judged on merit and on the way they benefit an individual or the community. The subject maybe Art; Dance; Music; Painting; Performing Arts (radio,television, theater); Video and Film production.
The Trust will normally grant up to $300.00 per selected application, with consideration, upon merit, for additional funding.
Available through the MFAC office Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9:30am to 5:00pm or firstname.lastname@example.org and www.milfordarts.org.
Program is open September 1 - October 31, 2012.
Completed applications due October 31, 2012 at the Milford Fine Arts Council; Attention: Trustees Grant Program
Announcement: Awards will be announced in December 2012.
Those who receive grants will be asked to file Project Reports thirty (30) days after completing their projects.
