Karissa Toles, 21, of Summit Avenue in Milford, was charged March 27 with disorderly conduct. According to Milford Police, officers received a complaint regarding a disturbance that occurred on Sept. 26, 2013 on Summit Avenue. An investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Toles who is accused of assault. She was released on a promise to appear in court March 28.
Michael Gavin, 29, and Shane Gavin, 27, of Ranch Road in Milford were charged March 27 with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. According to police, officers received a complaint regarding a disturbance at a Ranch Road residence. An investigation led to the arrest of both men. The two were released on a promise to appear in court March 28.
James Webster, 45, pf Campbell Avenue in West Haven, was charged March 28 with three counts of violation of probation. According to police, officers took custody of Webster regarding three outstanding warrants for his arrest, accusing him of violating his court-appointed probation. Webster was held on a $15,000 bond.
Daniel Meisenheimer, 34, of Village Road in Milford, was charged March 28 with driving under the influence and interfering with police. According to Milford Police, the department received a complaint of an unresponsive person inside a motor vehicle with the engine running in a Platt Street parking lot. Emergency responders arrived and had to force entry into the vehicle to gain access to Meisenheimer, who had the vehicle's transmission engaged in drive. Police said he attempted to close the vehicle door on officers several times. Meisenheimer continued to be uncooperative with police and was taken into custody, accused of operating while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Meisenheimer refused to take a breathalyzer test, police said. He was held on a $500 bond.
Melissa Corey, 22, of Carriage Path South in Milford, was charged March 26 with sixth-degree larceny, illegal use of a credit card and credit card theft. According to police, on Jan. 8 officers assisted another police agency with an investigation involving Corey. While at her residence, officers found that she was in possession of a stolen credit card taken from an acquaintance. Police said the debit card had been used to make an unauthorized transaction from the victim's account. A warrant was then issued for Corey's arrest. She was released on a promise to appear in court on April 22.
Jason Jacobs, 23, of Bird Lane in Milford, was charged March 16 with sale of a hallucinogen and possession of a hallucinogenic. According to Milford Police, the department conducted a drug investigation in October 2013, which led to an arrest warrant for Jacobs, who is accused of selling ecstasy in the Milford area. A bond amount of $5,000 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court April 22.
Jason MacHoll, 27, of Hughes Street in East Haven, was charged March 25 with operating a motor vehicle under suspension, interfering with police and second-degree failure to appear. According to Milford Police, officers received a complaint regarding a motor vehicle accident in the area of Woodmont Road and Old Gate Lane. During the investigation, police found that MacHoll was operating the vehicle at the time of the accident and then switched seats with a female passenger, claiming he was not operating the vehicle at the time. A computer check revealed that MacHoll had a suspended operator's license, police said. A warrant was issued for his arrest. And a separate warrant was issued for MacHoll, accusing him of failing to appear in court on April 18, 2-13 for motor vehicle offenses he committed in Milford on March 9, 2012, police said. A bond amount of $250 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court April 22.
Christopher Lingane, 53, of Aircraft Road in West Haven, was charged March 24 with driving under the influence and failure to obey a yield sign. A bond amount of $500 was set and he is scheduled to appear in court April 24.
Angela Gillespie, 37, of an uncertain address, was charged March 25 with weapon in a motor vehicle, carrying a loaded shotgun/rifle in motor vehicle and carrying a pistol without a permit. According to police, officers received information regarding a disoriented motorist on Bridgeport Avenue. Police located the vehicle operated by Gillepsie in a parking lot. During the investigation, officers found a handgun and shotgun inside the vehicle, which were both loaded with ammunition. Police said a computer check revealed that Gillepsie did not have a pistol permit. She was held on a $10,000 bond.
