Obituary: Steven P. Bloomberg, age 60

Steven became a dedicated psychiatric registered nurse in 2000. With a heart of gold, he gave to others above and beyond. He worked for several Connecticut hospitals and various home care agencies.

Obituary: Steven P. Bloomberg, age 60

 

Steven P. Bloomberg, age 60, of Milford, beloved husband of Susan Bloomberg, passed away on November 13, after a battle with kidney cancer.  

Steven was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 9, 1952 to the late Leo and Rosalind Bloomberg.  Steven became a dedicated psychiatric registered nurse in 2000.  With a heart of gold, he gave to others above and beyond.  He worked for several Connecticut hospitals and various home care agencies.  

He will be missed by all he touched.  Survivors include his three sons;Survivors include his three sons; David and his wife Megan, Nathan and his wife Lori, and Luke Bloomberg; step-daughter, Michelle Devlin Long and husband Joshua, a brother and sister in law; brother in law and sister in law, Howard and Gale Zeidman of NY; father in law, Leon Zeidman, and several nieces and nephews.  

A special thank you to all medical oncology staff, palliative care and Chaplains at Saint Raphael Hospital in New Haven and Connecticut Hospice in Branford.  Friends may call on Friday afternoon from 1:30-2:30PM in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.  

A memorial service will be held at 2:30PM in the funeral home, followed by the burial in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford.
