Party Bus Catches Fire At McDonald's In Milford: Officials

MILFORD, CT — Authorities are investigating after a party bus caught fire Friday at a McDonald's restaurant in Milford.

The Milford Fire Department was called to the restaurant located at 439 Bridgeport Ave. shortly after 9 p.m. for a report of a fire, according to Adam Hansen, the agency's public information officer.

When the fire department arrived, Hansen said they found a school bus that had been converted into a party bus engulfed in flames.

Hansen said no one was on the bus at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.

The bus was located away from the restaurant and sustained no damage, Hansen said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
