Actor Will Ferrell is in town Thursday for an interview on the Dan Patrick Show, which is broadcast from Downtown Milford.

Ferrell is promoting his new movie "Anchorman 2," in which he plays a 1970s-era news anchor named Ron Burgundy.

The Downtown Milford Connecticut Facebook page shared a photo Thursday morning of Ferrell in his usual Burgundy garb in front of the old Milford Diner.

"He is hosting the (Dan Patrick) show as we speak," a post on the Facebook page read at 11:05 a.m. Thursday. "He may float around downtown after 12pm today when the show is over!"

To listen live, visit the Dan Patrick Show's website here (just click listen live on the top right-hand corner). On the homepage right now (11:05 a.m. Thursday) is a photo of Ferrell with the caption, "Ron Burgundy Invades Milford ManCave."

"Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" is the sequel to "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," which was released in 2004 and co-starred Christina Applegate and Steve Carell.

The sequel hits theaters Dec. 18. Click here to watch the trailer.

Motorists uninterested in catching a glimpse of Ferrell are advised to find an alternate route of travel through Downtown Milford. Police have reportedly closed the lane adjacent to Cafe Atlantique.
