
MILFORD, CT — A yacht was severely damaged after a fire in Milford Harbor. The vessel was docked at Oyster Landing Marina on Dock Road when 911 callers reported smoke coming from the vessel around 11:30 a.m. Monday.
Milford firefighters doused the fire from both land and sea using their fire boat and ground vehicles, said Battalion Chief Anthony Fabrizi.
The fire was brought under control within 10 minutes and adjacent vessels weren't damaged.

The 37-foot Maxum cabin cruiser was towed to Milford Boat Works and taken out of the water. The fire marshals division is investigating the cause of the blaze.
