Here's a list of what they'll accept and what they won't.

Trumbull Public Works is holding a hazardous waste collection on Saturday, May 31, for Trumbull, Monroe and Easton residents.

Residents can bring up to 20 gallons/pounds of waste per household to 307 Indian Ledge Park Drive, next to the BMX park. (Must be able to prove residency with a Connecticut driver’s license.)

Materials should be in their original containers (packed in boxes and padded with newspaper to remain upright, if necessary) and tightly closed.

The Public Works Department gave the following lists of waste that will be accepted and what won’t, however they reserve the right to refuse unidentified materials and large amounts of hazardous waste.
