Power Fully Restored in Naugatuck After Tree Topples Over: UPDATE
Naugatuck on Wednesday afternoon accounted for nearly 40 percent of the power outages reported across the state Wednesday.

UPDATE: Power as been fully restored and there are no outages in Naugatuck as of 8:30 p.m.
NAUGATUCK, CT — A total of 4,001 Naugatuck residents are without power as of 4:50 p.m. as high winds have caused 28 percent of the borough to lose power Wednesday afternoon.
Eversource is reporting that 28 percent of the Borough is without power. A Wind Advisory has been issued with gusts up to 50 mph possible at times.

My Citizen's News reports a tree fell over near a substation and power had to be cut to the area while crews worked to make repairs. No timetable has been given for when power will be restored.
