Naugatuck High School Graduation Will Be in Waterbury Again

Some parents and students say they'd prefer it be held at the High School.

The Naugatuck Board of Education has decided to hold this year’s graduation ceremony at the Palace Theater in Waterbury for the third straight year, reports Paul Singley, of the Waterbury Republican-American.

Graduation has been held there because an ongoing $81 million renovation project at the High School won’t be completed until the fall. The principal expressed concerns about parking availability.

But some parents and students said they’d prefer to hold graduation at the High School, Singley reports.
