The following list of arrests was provided by the public information officer at the . An arrest does not constitute a conviction and the charges are allegations until proven otherwise in a court of law.

MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT
Jonathan Zulpa, 32, 113 South Main St., Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct after police responded to his home for a report of an assault on May 4. Police said Zulpa punched a victim in the face, leaving the person with abrasions to his face. He was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 16.

MAN CHARGED WITH DRINKING AND DRIVING
Harold Corker, 30, 26 Mulberry St., Naugatuck, was charged with drinking while operating a motor vehicle, driving without an ignition device, driving under the influence and a failure to drive at the right speed after police pulled him over at 1:24 a.m. on May 4 on May Street. Police was released on a $5,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 17.

MAN CHARGED WITH FAILING TO APPEAR
Jerrid Attilio, 34, 3263, East Main St., Waterbury, was charged with three counts of second-degree failure to appear on May 4 after he turned himself in to the Naugatuck Police Department. Attilio was held on a total $90,500 court-set bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 4.

MAN CHARGED WITH VIOLATING A PROTECTIVE ORDER
John Butler, 18, 424 Quinn St., Naugatuck, was charged with a criminal violation of a restraining order after the high school resource officer saw him talking with another student on May 4 whom he had a no-contact protective order against. Butler was released on a $1,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 7.

MAN CHARGED WITH INTEFERING WITH AN OFFICER
Thomas Knapp II, 42, 90 Aetna St., Naugatuck, was charged with interfering with an officer and a breach of peace on May 4 after police responded to his home for a report of a disturbance. Knapp was released on a $2,500 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 16.

MAN CHARGED WITH THREATENING
William Steinbacher, 30, 627 Millville Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with a breach of peace and threatening on May 4. No further information was available.

MAN CHARGED WITH DUI ON RUBBER AVENUE
Alexander Simoes, 22, 53 Coe Road, Wolcott, was charged with driving under the influence and a failure to keep right of a curve after police pulled him over on Rubber Avenue on May 5. Simoes was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 17.

MAN CHARGED WITH DUI ON SALEM BRIDGE
Daniel Morton, 18, 142 May St., Naugatuck, was charged with driving under the influence and a failure to keep right of a curve on May 5 after police pulled him over on the Salem Bridge at 2 a.m. on May 5. Police released Morton on a $500 non-surety bond. She is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 17.

MAN CHARGED WITH FAILING TO APPEAR IN COURT
John Mallory, 52, 216 Tracy Ave., Waterbury, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on May 5 after he turned himself in to police. Mallory was released on a $195 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 17.

MAN CHARGED WITH DUI ON WATER STREET
James Toscano, 51, 31 Woodlawn Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with making a restricted turn, violating a construction zone and driving under the influence after police pulled him over on May 6 on Water Street. Toscano was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 17.

WOMAN CHARGED WITH DUI ON SOUTH MAIN STREET
Aimee Gelinas, 23, 29 General Patton Drive, Naugatuck, was charged with a failure to obey a control signal, a failure to drive in the proper lane and driving under the influence after police pulled her over on South Main Street at 2:47 a.m. on May 6. Gelinas was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 17.

MAN CHARGED WITH DUI ON HOADLEY STREET
Richard Bouteiller, 21, 35 Farview Lane, Wolcott, was charged with driving under the influence and a failure to obey a control signal after police pulled him over at 3:08 a.m. on May 6. Bouteiller was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 17.

PAIR CHARGED WITH DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Bedri Balanca, 29, and Shqipe Balanca, 20, both of 83 Prospect St., were charged with disorderly conduct on May 6 after police responded to their home for a report of a domestic dispute. Shqipe was released on a $500 non-surety bond and Berdi was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond. Both were due to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on May 7.
