New Canaan P.E.O. Scholarship Awarded to Lisa Perone

New Canaan P.E.O. Chapter N has recently presented New Canaan resident Lisa Perone with a $500 Program for Continuing Education (PCE) scholarship.  Lisa, a mother of three, is currently going to school for her CDA Certificate (Child Development Associate) at CDAClass.org.  Lisa plans to complete her program by the end of this year.

The Program for Continuing Education (PCE) awarded to Lisa is one of six P.E.O. philanthropic projects;  this project provides grants of up to $3000 to women who have found it necessary to return to school and who are within two years of attaining their degree.  Candidates need not be residents of New Canaan, but are required to have U.S. citizenship, and be with 24 months of completing their education.  If you want more information about our projects , please visit www.peointernational.org/ and look at the “Projects / Philanthropies”.   P.E.O.
