Head on over to the Stamford Museum & Nature Center Friday night at 7 p.m. for Astronomy Nights: Jupiter. "Head to the Observatory on selected Friday nights for a real treat as we explore the night sky, planets, stars, and more! Start by enjoying a presentation on Jupiter, followed by a visit to view the night sky through our 22-inch telescope."

Join New Canaan Olive Oil Saturday beginning at noon for a free tasting session until 2 p.m. "Prepared by 'A Delicious Affair' using New Canaan Olive Oil's products. These recipes are perfect for Superbowl party snacks!"

Help raise money for the Bennett Cancer Center's Music Therapy Program in Stamford by attending the Pop Music Academy's 2014 Annual Showcase Performance at Rippowam Middle School Saturday at 7 p.m. "Dr. [Amy] Zabin works with patients individually and in groups to provide emotional coping tools that help decrease fears, pain, and feelings of isolation for people who are hospitalized or receiving chemotherapy. Before the show’s intermission, Dr. Zabin will briefly speak about her work with the program. A portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to this special department and information will be on display throughout the night."

Come in from the cold Sunday for Greenwich Yacht Club's Open House starting at 1 p.m. "[E]njoy a roaring fire, some hot coffee or cocoa, and refreshments while checking out the beautiful post-Sandy renovations on the simple yet elegant Old Greenwich Yacht Club 'Clubhouse.'  We are very proud of our beach shack style town-sponsored yacht club."

Head to the Wilton Presbyterian Church Sunday at 4 p.m. for Lift Every Voice: A Concert of Celebration to benefit the Norwalk Children's Foundation. "Lift Every Voice will feature Pete Malinverni, world-renowned jazz musician and Director of Jazz Studies, SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music. Malinverni will bring in singers from SUNY and beyond for this inspirational experience for the whole family."
