1 Killed In Tractor-Trailer Crash In New Haven: Reports
The crash on Ella T. Grasso Boulevard prompted authorities to close the road for several hours early Saturday, according to reports.
NEW HAVEN, CT — One person is dead following a crash involving a tractor-trailer in New Haven, according to reports citing fire officials.
The crash happened around 11:50 p.m. Friday near 670 Ella T. Grasso Blvd., New Haven Assistant Fire Chief Dan Coughlin told the New Haven Register. According to Coughlin, the driver of a Honda Pilot crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer.
The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene, the Register reported. Authorities did not release their name.

According to a FOX 61 report, the crash prompted authorities to close the road for several hours. It reopened around 7 a.m. Saturday, FOX 61 reported.
