Four Arrested in New London Prostitution Sting

New London Police made the arrests in various places throughout the city yesterday between the hours of 4 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Four Arrested in New London Prostitution Sting
New London Police are cracking down on prostitution.

On August 23, members of New London Police Department's Detective Division and the VIS and Narcotics section, assisted by the Patrol Division, conducted a prostitution arrest sting in various parts of the city. The following people were arrested during the round-up, which happened between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. 
  • Krystal Curtiss, 26, of no known address was charged with prostitution.
  • Kimberly McGrail, 46, of 26 Broad Street, New London was charged with prostitution.
  • Lisabeth Bohain, 39, of no known address was charged with prostitution. 
  • Albino Calastino, 34, of 34 Lee Avenue, New London, was charged with patronizing a prostitute.
All were released on $1,000 non-surety bonds with court dates of September 6, 2013. Note: An arrest does not signify a conviction.
