Man Found Deceased in New London Apartment

NEW LONDON, CT — A 35-year-old man was found deceased in a New London apartment early Saturday morning, according to police.

Authorities received a call from the 200 block of Shaw Street around 6:45 a.m. reporting a possible untimely death. Police arrived on scene and found a deceased male.

Detectives from investigative services and the office of the chief medical examiner responded to the scene. According to police, no obvious signs of trauma or suspicion were apparent by personnel on scene.

The man was identified as 35-year-old Frank Marquez, of New London. An autopsy has been scheduled.
