Firefighters Respond to Boat Blaze in New Milford
A boat, a shed and a nearby house all got caught up in the fire.
NEW MILFORD, CT — Firefighters extinguished a fire Friday morning that damaged a boat, a shed and an adjacent house.
Around 10:30 a.m. the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company and Water Witch Hose Company #2 of New Milford responded to a fire at a residence on Carmen Hill Road #2. First responders found a large boat and shed on fire. There was also damage to the siding of the house, fire officials reported.
Brookfield crews operated for one hour before being returned to service. No injuries were reported.
