Mark Basil's T-Birds continue to dominate offensively in their latest contest.

continued to roll through its season with a 39-0 win over Old Saybrook/Westbrook (OS/W) on Oct. 15 as the T-Birds have won their last three contests after to stand at 3-1 so far in 2011. The T-Birds have topped  and .

The T-Birds scored two touchdowns in each of the first three frames, while their defense shut down OS/W (2-2). Joe Delucia set the tone with an 80-yard kickoff return. Quarterback Brandan Basil then snuck in a one-yard run for the T-Birds’ second TD of the day.

In the second quarter, Basil opened up his passing game for two scores. He first connected with Chris Caron for 21 yards and then hit Dale Hausman for 10 yards.

Corey Onofrio snagged a 10-yard pass from Basil in the third quarter to put North Branford up 32-0 before Hausman’s 26-yard run closed out the day’s scoring. Ryan Magnotti went 3-for-6 on PATs.

Basil was 11-for-15 passing for 145 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Hausman had five carries for 65 yards and a TD to go with a 10-yard touchdown reception.

Onofrio had 39 yards and a touchdown on four receptions, while Caron had three receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown.

Other offensive contributors included Joe Delucia (15-yard carry, 22-yard reception), Gary Falanga, who had four carries for 50 yards; Bobby Miller with three carries for 25 yards; and Magnotti with a 14-yard reception.

Anthony Franco dominated the T-Birds’ defense with 23 tackles and a fumble recovery. John Burke added eight tackles, while Damoy Hunter had six to go with an interception. Mitch Mongillo (6 tackles) and Falanga (5 tackles) also contributed defensively.

Next up: The T-Birds host East Hampton/Vinal Tech on Friday, Oct. 21 at 6:30 p.m.
