The following arrest information was supplied by the North Branford Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Disorderly Conduct

Joseph M. Lage, 28, of Middletown Ave., Northford, was arrested for disorderly conduct at 7:34 p.m. on Aug. 10.

Reckless Driving and Larceny

Richard Milton Ashe, 22, of Meadow Street, Guilford, was arrested for operating an unregistered vehicle, driving without insurance, misuse of plates, theft of plates (sixth-degree larceny), reckless driving and engaging in pursuit.  at 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 13.

NBPD attempted to stop a car for misuse of registration, but the operator reportedly refused to stop. Due to the speed of the fleeing vehicle, NBPD terminated the attempt to stop the car. The vehicle and operator were later located by Guilford Police.

Sale and Distribution of Canibus

Deborah Apotrias, 39, of Tumblebrook Drive, North Branford, was arrested for illegal cultivation of a controlled substance (canibus); injury/risk of impairing morals; interfering with an officer; and conspiracy to sell/distribute/manufacture drugs at 5:31 p.m. on Aug. 15.

Mark Apotries, 43, of Tumblebrook Drive, North Branford, was arrested for illegal cultivation of a controlled substance (canibus); injury/risk of impairing morals; and conspiracy to sell/distribute/manufacture drugs at 5:31 p.m. on Aug. 15.

A North Branford officer assisted Statewide Narcotics Task Force on a search warrant in this case. The homeowners were allegedly cultivating marijuana plants.
