Fire Displaces 6, Injures 1 In North Haven
The fire occurred early Friday morning in North Haven.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A family of six was displaced from their home following a structure fire on Monroe Street early Friday morning. One person was hospitalized for treatment of a burn injury, according to the North Haven Fire Department.
WTNH News 8 reports the fire was reported in the garage at 11 Monroe Street at about 5 a.m.
The American Red Cross assisted the family — six adults, no children — with immediate needs and is also providing comfort kits containing personal care items such as toothbrushes, deodorant; shaving supplies and other items a resident might not have been able to gather in the rush to escape the fire.
