Van Fire Extinguished On Highway In North Haven: FD
The fire closed part of the highway for about 30 minutes, according to officials.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A van fire temporarily shut down part of Route 40 in North Haven on Wednesday, according to officials.
Crews responded to a fully involved commercial van fire on Route 40 just before Exit 1.
“The highway was shutdown westbound for approximately 30 minutes due to the fire from the vehicle,” officials wrote in a post on the North Haven Fire Department’s Facebook page. “There were no injuries and the road is now fully open.”
