The fire was reported Thursday morning on East Avenue, according to police.
NORWALK, CT — An underground fire in Norwalk Thursday morning resulted in the temporary closure of East Avenue at Sunset Hill Avenue, according to police. The road has since been reopened.
Details of the incident were not immediately available, but police officials urged motorists to use alternate routes to avoid the area for a couple of hours.
