After 46 years in town — 44 at the same location on the Boston Post Road — it's hard not to think of Ben's Service Center when you think of Orange.

The business is owned by Ben and Andrea Santamauro. The couple took a few minutes to answer some questions about their business. Here's what they had to say... 

Why did you decide to open a business in town? 

Ben's is currently in its 44th year in the auto repair business in the same location. Ben founded his business with the idea of providing repair service that went above and beyond the industry standard.

What type of services does your business provide?

Towing Specializing in: Flatbeds, Wheel Lifts, Accidents, Winching, Unlocks, Tire Changes, Jump Starts, Pull Starts, Serving the entire New Haven/Orange area. Big or Small, we do it all!

What are you most proud of about your business?

Ben's is a family owned and operated independent auto repair facility that has been servicing Orange, CT since 1966. Our philosophy is to provide the absolute best auto repair service and products for our customers and their automobiles

What's something people would find surprising about your business or profession?

Great service plus a fun loving attitude, with raffles & specials...[we are] family owned & operated. [Ben's has won awards for its service, too, including:]
