Sentinel: VEMS Report Sparks Questions About Vehicle Crash

In a report obtained by the Valley Independent Sentinel, Oxford Ambulance Association Director Jerry Schwab is quoted as telling a local mechanic: “make sure that the vehicle (was) not visible in an effort to avoid involvement of the press,” the Sentinel reported on its website Thursday.

Taggart had permission to take the vehicle, but VEMS leaders say they did not know she would be taking it out of state and are now changing their vehicle usage policy.
