WWE Diva Accused of Shoplifting in Connecticut

You may know Tenille Dashwood as “Emma,” the WWE’s female wrestler, but you may also now know her as someone accused of shoplifting in Hartford, WTNH News 8 reports.

Police have said Dashwood was charged with shoplifting an iPad Mini case worth about $20 on Monday, News 8 reports.

Dashwood was in town Monday because the WWE performed a show at the XL Center, News 8 reports.

Hartford police say she was charged with sixth-degree larceny, and she is a Florida resident.

Dashwood’s attorney said it was an accident that she forgot to pay for the case, the Hartford Courant reports.

This is Emma’s bio from the WWE’s official website:

“A Diva who dances like no one’s watching and can pack a mean punch, Emma boasts a wacky attitude and quirky confidence that would make even the boldest men raise an eyebrow.”
