Plate Didn't Match Car
Ridgefield Police charged a South Salem, NY man with three motor vehicle violations after police noticed the car's marker plate didn't belong on the car. Police said they stopped Darren Heinz of South Salem at 9:30 p.m. Monday on Main Street. Police said during their investigation they realized the car didn't have sufficient insurance and Heinz was driving an unregistered car. He was also charged with misuse of a marker plate.

This information was provided by the Ridgefield Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
