Woman Found Dead in Car in Rocky Hill: Police

Rocky Hill Police are investigating a suspicious death.

According to police, the department received the report of an unresponsive person around 3:49 p.m. on Friday in a vehicle on School Street.

Officers and emergency service personnel found the lifeless body of an adult female victim, seated in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in the garage of a private home, police said. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics.

The Rocky Hill Police Department’s criminal investigations unit along with investigators from the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office are conducting an investigation into this incident. An autopsy will be performed at a later date.

“Although the circumstances surrounding this death are suspicious, there is no reason to believe that the public is in danger or there is a risk to the community,” Rocky Hill PD said in a news release.
