Betty Sue Choquette Bayne, 89 of Shelton, Passed Away on Dec. 24
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Jan. 3, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Gabriel's Church in Stamford with burial in Darien.

Betty Sue Choquette Bayne, age 89, passed away on Wednesday December 24, 2014 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby. Betty was born in Orange, TX, on February 8, 1925, daughter of the late Grover and Laverne (Busby) Gholson, and has been a Shelton resident for 12 years, living most of her life in Darien.
She was predeceased by her first husband Albert W. Choquette and her second husband Joseph Bayne. Betty enjoyed cooking, knitting, and visiting with family and friends, and was a member of the Shelton Senior Center, and a parishioner of St. Lawrence Church.

She leaves her daughter, Annette Clowes and her husband, Donald, her son, James Choquette and his wife, Mary Ann, her son Robert Choquette and his wife, Marita, her sister Alice Outman, her stepson Joseph Bayne and his wife, Sandra, and daughter-in-law Maureen (Bayne) Gambino, many cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson Scott Clowes and a stepson Philip Bayne,
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 3, 2015, at 10:30 AM in St. Gabriel’s Church, 914 Newfield Ave. Stamford. Burial will follow in St.John’s Cemetery, 25 Camp Ave., Darien.
