A Shelton man was charged Friday in connection to two Fairfield burglaries, which were reported in October.
Conner Buckley, 20, of Oak Avenue in Shelton, was charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, attempted burglary in the third degree, third-degree burglary, third degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, police said.
Buckley is accused of attempting to burglarize a home on Redding Road and for stealing jewelry from a Stella Lane residence, department spokesperson Sgt. Sue Lussier said.
He is also a suspect for burglaries reported in Westport and Monroe, where police charged Buckley in October. Fairfield police determined they had probable cause to arrest Buckley for the Fairfield burglaries, Lussier said.
Buckley was held in lieu of a $7,500 bond and was scheduled to have appeared in court on Friday.
