Southington Police Blotter: Feb. 20 - 22

Southington Police Blotter: Feb. 20 - 22

In a lighter end of the week for police, officers reported two separate DUI arrests, as well as charging three people after an incident along Main Street early Friday. In addition, officers were on the roads ticketing motorists in violation of various infractions. Take a look back at the latest arrest logs.

The Southington Police Department reported the following arrests:

Feb. 20

Matthew A. Ryan, 35, of 88 N. Ridgeland Road in Wallingford, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive right, Feb. 20.

Feb. 21

Matthew J. Harbut, 26, of 58 Carey St. in Southington, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to maintain proper lane, Feb. 21.

Feb. 22

Aljia Dumas, 23, of 630 Main St. in Southington, was charged with creating a public disturbance, interfering with an officer and failure to submit fingerprints, Feb. 22.

Timothy Parker, 26, of 630 Main St. in Southington, was charged with creating a public disturbance, Feb. 22.

Edward A. Nieves, 23, of 630 Main St. in Southington, was charged with creating a public disturbance, Feb. 22.

Other stats from reported traffic stops and incidents:

  • Four people were cited with using a cell phone while driving.
  • Four people were cited with operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
  • One person was cited with failure to obey stop sign/traffic signal.
