Video Helps Southington Cops Nab Suspect in Burglary Attempt
Police say the suspect tried to break into a local liquor store.

Thanks to a surveillance video, Southington Police were able to identify a local man who they say tried to break into a Queen Street liquor store.
Police say it was around midnight on Friday, Sept. 11 when a man apparently used a rock to try to smash the glass front door of the Cork ’n’ Cap liquor store at 685 Queen St. Police discovered the door was damaged when they answered a burglar alarm.
The store owner responded to the scene and upon checking video surveillance, officers were able to identify Ryan Clynes, 31, of Southington, as a suspect. Officers went to Clynes’ residence and he was taken into custody without incident.
