Arrest Made in Stamford Road Rage Incident Involving a Gun

The suspect reportedly waved a gun at another motorist as they exchanged words on an I-95 exit ramp.

An NBC Studios employee in Stamford was arrested late Tuesday in connection with a road rage incident on Exit 9 of I-95 that reportedly involved the waving of a gun at another motorist.

Stratford resident Anthony Scraders, 51, of Columbus Avenue, was found at the NBC Studios on Blachley Road by Stamford and Connecticut State Police. State Police received a report from a Norwalk man who said that Scraders waved a gun at him as the pair exchanged words on the highway exit ramp, according to The Advocate. Police reportedly found two guns in his car.

Scraders was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, threatening and breach of peace and released after posting $3,500 bond, according to the report. His arraignment in state Superior Court in Stamford courthouse is scheduled for July 10, according to The Advocate report that can be found here.
