Efthimia Emmanouilidis, 90; An Excellent Cook; A Stamford Resident Who Enjoyed Spending Time With Her Family
Calling hours are scheduled for Monday, April 13 with the funeral to be held on Tuesday, April 14.

Efthimia Emmanouilidis, 90, of Stamford, passed away peacefully at Norwalk Hospital on Friday, April 10th surrounded by her loving family.
She was the daughter of the late Panagiotis and Athena (Kouroublis) Trellopoulos. She moved from Greece to the United States in 1970.

Efthimia was a kind, generous person who was loved by all who knew her. She cherished time spent with her family and friends. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed to travel and garden.
She was preceded in death in 2013 by her beloved husband of 58 years, Panagiotis Emmanouilidis, and is survived by her loving children; Emmy Koukoulogiannis, and her husband Gus, and Dimitrios Emmanouilidis, and his wife Lorraine. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Antigone Galvis, and husband Kevin, Peter Emmanouilidis, Dimitrios Emmanouilidis, and his wife Dana, and her precious great-grandson, Dimitrios P. Emmanouilidis all of whom she loved with all her heart. She is also survived by two sisters: Maria Orkopoulos and Anna Trellopoulos of Greece and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Efthimia was preceded in death by her sister, Pinelopi Efkarpidis, and two brothers; John and Andreas Trellopoulos.
Efthimia’s family will receive the condolences of family and friends today, Monday, April 13th from 4p.m. to 8p.m., with a Trisagion service beginning at 7:30p.m, at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford, CT. A funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 14th at 10 a.m. at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 1230 Newfield Avenue, in Stamford. Rev. Father Evan Evangelidis will officiate. Interment will immediately follow at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, in Norwalk.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Efthimia’s memory may be made to the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 1230 Newfield Avenue, Stamford , CT 06905 or the Alzheimer’s Association CT Chapter, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 or online at www.alz.org/ct.
