Future 5 Celebrates move to Landmark Square with Ribbon Cutting

Future 5, the Stamford nonprofit that supports under-resourced local high school and college students, celebrated moving to a new home at 4 Landmark Square on February 11th (off Veteran's Park). The new site will accommodate 50% more space for programming, a 13% annual increase in high school members, pods for one-on-one tutoring and coaching, and a new College & Workforce Development Center.

Future 5's programs include College Prep, "Neck Track" coaching for members interested in trade school, the military and certificate programs, Academic Support, Community Service, Health and Wellness enrichment and Workforce Development. High school graduates benefit from Future 5's College Success and Career Advisory services and the Alum 5 network brings membership full circle through alumni volunteers, scholarship and financial support. The organization has helped nearly 1,000 students "land with a plan" since its founding in 2009.

"Our new headquarters is an important step in making our five-year strategic plan a reality," stated Amanda Dubois-Mwake, Future 5 Executive Director. "Our goal is to grow by 13% annually, offering life-changing opportunities to even more high school members while expanding and enhancing our current programming to achieve greater value and impact."

Future 5 connects motivated, under-resourced students in Stamford to the people and resources they need to achieve their educational, career and life goals. Thanks to the 130+ volunteers and 75+ corporate/community partners, Future 5 offers links to coaching, college, community and careers, all while helping to build life skills.
