Greenwich Education Group Expands College Admission, Counseling Services

Greenwich Education Group has announced the expansion of its college admissions and counseling services with the appointment of Hilary Stark as Associate Director of College Counseling. Ms. Stark joins Greenwich Education Group’s independent college counseling practice led by Director Sarah K. Lee.

Victoria Newman, Founder and Executive Director of Greenwich Education Group, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Hilary to our college admissions team. Her background in business and at Greenwich High School provides excellent complementary skills and experiences to our existing team of experts. Greenwich Education Group Counselors will be available every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Parents and/or students are welcome to stop by for 15 minute appointments at the Riverside office. This is complimentary for all existing Greenwich Education Group College Counseling & Academic Services clients. Clinic appointments are credited toward any hourly or full-service agreements.

Mock Admissions Review

Just as the admissions officers review your application holistically, Greenwich Education Group consultants will analyze your completed application line by line. And just as admissions committees meet to discuss applicants, the GEG Team will also review, discuss, score and provide a detailed report of your Early Application a week before the deadline.

About Hilary Stark

Ms. Stark has been assisting high school students prepare for college since 2008, most recently in the College/Career Center at Greenwich High School.

Prior to that Ms. Stark was a vice president at Lehman Brothers and manager of the firm’s global re-entry program, Encore®. While there, she collaborated with the firm’s management to create and implement a comprehensive program that included on-boarding and professional development. She also served as the program’s ongoing career advisor and assisted with performance management.

Ms. Stark, a Greenwich resident, received a B.A. from Wellesley College and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
