Working collaboratively with families and schools, TCC’s mission is to guide and support a student to be ready, able, and excited to learn. Co-Director Diane Ferber explained: “Student outcomes improve when state-of-the-art interventions and methods are applied.
Together, this student-centered philosophy and our strong, personal working relationships with families and schools have combined to drive word- of- mouth- support and a resultant need for our own space.”
“Having state-of-art facilities is consistent with GEG’s philosophy of providing our students and their families with the most supportive and student-oriented learning environment possible,” points out Co-Director Nancy Grejtak.
“Our new space gives us even greater opportunities to customize instruction so that each child can reach full potential through differentiated learning.”
TCC offers customized assessments to understand learning styles and challenges; speech and language services; a results-driven executive function coaching program; behavioral therapy and ABA; Orton Gillingham reading instruction; one-on-one subject tutoring for students with ADHD and learning differences; programs to help reduce anxiety, improve social skills and regulate emotions; and support for students experiencing stressful life events.
The staff is comprised of highly credentialed and engaged specialists in areas such as Behavior Modification, Speech and Language, Reading, Special Education and Clinical and School Psychology. They serve students from pre-K through college.
