Linda McMahon Pins Down Senate Panel Vote for Small Business Administration Post
McMahon cleared another hurdle on her way to becoming the next leader of the SBA.

STAMFORD, CT — Former WWE CEO Linda McMahon handily passed a U.S. Senate panel vote by a margin of 18-1 Tuesday in one of the final steps to become the next leader of the Small Business Administration.
The single "no" vote came from New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, according to the Connecticut Post.
McMahon, a Greenwich resident, was nominated by President Donald Trump to head the organization that serves as an advocate for small businesses across the country. The SBA also helps with financing and training for small business owners.

McMahon's confirmation will now go before the full Senate for debate and a final vote.
Connecticut Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy, both Democrats, have both expressed their support for her nomination. McMahon ran and lost against both senators in the past.

She also had the support of son-in-law and WWE wrestler Triple H, who showed up to the panel hearing with McMahon's daughter Stephanie McMahon.
McMahon fared well during her confirmation hearing as she told senators that her experience building up the WWE.
McMahon and husband Vince McMahon turned Vince's father's small wrestling organization into a large enterprise with a dedicated national audience.
