At Avon Tues: 'Now: In the Wings' Q&A with Actress

An advance Screening of Now: In the Wings on a World Stage, with a post-film Q&A with actress Maureen Anderman, takes place Tuesday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m.

ABOUT THE FILM: Kevin Spacey, Sam Mendes and the Bridge Project Company go on the road in NOW: IN THE WINGS ON A WORLD STAGE. In over 200 performances, and across 3 continents, Kevin and the troupe reveal some of the most intimate moments behind the scenes of their staging of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, Richard III.

Their story and experiences weave around, and reflect on, excerpts from the play from their various locations, from Epidaurus to Doha, and provides a great opportunity for those who have never experienced Spacey on stage to witness his immersive and captivating interpretation of Richard III.

NOW chronicles the first collaboration between Spacey and Mendes since both won Academy Awards® for their work on American Beauty.

Anderman recently played the Old Vic and toured the world in the Bridge Company's production of Richard III, opposite Kevin Spacey.

Off Broadway she appeared in Passion PlayLater LifeAncestral Voices and The Waverly Gallery. Regionally, she has worked at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Huntington Theatre, Yale Repertory Theatre, Hartford Stage, Long Wharf Theatre, Goodman Theatre, The Old Globe, Guthrie Theater and the Westport Country Playhouse.

Anderman has numerous TV and film credits including recurring roles on "The Equalizer" and "The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd" She has been honored with IRNE, Drama Desk, and Tony Award nominations, and has received Theatre World Award, a Connecticut Critics Circle Award and was recently named Westport Artist of the Year.
